A PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC PERSPECTIVE

Boating and Fishing in Florida

I've got so many pictures of fishing tournaments and guys holding up fish for a picture that if they were negatives I'd have several 3-ring binders full already. Digital makes it much easier, they are all on DVDs and in Lightroom Catalouges.

These are three of my last film images, shot on Fuji 800 because that was the only film that my last employer bought that was not out dated. They were so cheap they bought film with huge color shifts and then processed it in a processor that was NEVER cleaned or tested. For my last year working there I took my film to Walgreens on Monday becauset I knew the drug store changed their chemistry once a week, on Monday morning.

The birds in SW Florida , especially on the Peace River are wonderful. These wood storks appeared to be having a meeting as I slowly drifted by. The center photo is a spotted Eagle Ray, they can leap 8 feet out of the water. The right photo is my friend Fishin' Frank flipping a bait at me for a story on fishing with live bait. One shot, one chance, no motor: F8 @ 1000th. ... Like I said at the beginning of this website, be in the right place at the right time...and be lucky.

When I get a little more time I'll update this site again and move into what I have been doing with digital photography.
